ROLE OVERVIEW | CIO:
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to manage and drive the company’s IT strategy from their Zurich, Switzerland office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the IT department, managing staff, and ensuring alignment of IT systems and processes with company-wide objectives. This role involves developing the IT budget, deploying new systems, and maintaining current IT infrastructure to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
As CIO, you will also be responsible for creating and enforcing IT best practices across the organization, ensuring that all IT operations align with the company’s broader goals. Additionally, the role will require managing relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with the board of directors and other senior executives regarding the risks and benefits of IT initiatives.
